Chocolate Tahini Layer Cake - three rich layers of moist chocolate cake layered with tahini buttercream and topped with chocolate tahini frosting.

1 cup sugar
¾ cup coconut sugar (or regular sugar)
1¾ cups whole wheat pastry flour (or all purpose flour) Coupons
1 cup cocoa powder
1½ tsp salt
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp vanilla
½ cup tahini
¼ cup oil (canola or coconut)
¾ cup boiling water
1 tbsp instant coffee

Tahini Buttercream
1 cup Earth Balance Soy Free Buttery Sticks (or real butter), room temperature
½ cup tahini
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
¼ cup cocoa powder
