Chocolate-White Chocolate Chip Scones

Delicious chocolate scones with white chocolate chips. My kids love these! I do, too!

2/3 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ¾ c. flour
¼ c. cocoa powder
½ c. sugar
2 ½ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1/3 c. cold butter
2/3 c. white chocolate chips
In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Use a pastry blender to cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. You can use two knives to do this as well, but the pastry blender is much quicker. Stir in white chocolate chips. Add milk, egg, and vanilla. Stir just until dough comes together. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and pat into an approximately 8 inch circle. Cut into 12 wedges. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
