Traditional sugar cookies made with a Cinnabon topping and frosted with Cinnabon butter cream.

For the Cookies
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
2 Tbsp. Cinnabon cinnamon roll syrup
6 Tbsp. Cinnabon cinnamon roll sprinkle topping
For the Frosting
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 Tbsp. Cinnabon cinnamon roll syrup
1 Tbsp. Cinnabon cinnamon roll sprinkle topping
pinch of salt
4 c. powdered sugar
