'Cinnamon Roll' Apple Dumplings

Cinnamon rolls wrapped around apple slices and baked in a buttery, vanilla sauce that is out of this world. I"m talking melt in your mouth goodness! So Freakin' Good! (Double the batch if you want more!)

1 8-count tube Cinnamon Rolls (with icing) Reduced Calorie or Regular
1 Granny Smith Apple (peeled and cut into 8 pieces)
1 stick of butter
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 ounces of Sprite or Mountain Dew (or something similar)

Butter 8 x 8 or 9 x9 inch pan.
Cut peeled apple into 8 sections.
Roll out each cinnamon roll and place apple in middle and wrap.
Melt butter and add in sugar, then blend just enough to mix ingredients...
