If you don’t like much frosting, you could definitely make a half batch. Or better yet, make a full batch and freeze half of it for the next time you want to make cinnamon rolls!

1 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, room temperature
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
for the filling:
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Frosting
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 package cream cheese, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Place all ingredients into a blender
2. Add water until it reaches 3/4 of the cup
3. Blend for 30 seconds
