Cinnamon Sugar Cookies with Caramel Drizzle and Sea Salt

My grandma was a baker, she loved to make cookies and the first time I made these for her she looked at me and said “you can have my kitchen as long as you always make these cookies for me.” It’s a huge compliment when the woman who taught me to bake tells me my cookies are the best she’s ever had.

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3-4 tablespoons of cinnamon (less or more, it’s your preference. Or omit if you don’t like cinnamon, switch for cocoa powder or leave plain…)
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 can of sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp of butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3-4 tablespoons of cinnamon (less or more, it’s your preference. Or omit if you don’t like cinnamon, switch for cocoa powder or leave plain…)

Mix together the dry ingredients in a separate bowl before mixing the sugar and butter together.
