Deliciously moist muffins with cinnamon swirl centres and tops, studded with chocolate chips and drizzled with a sweet cream cheese frosting!

For the Muffins
3 cups (375g) plain flour
¾ cup (170g) caster sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips (and some extra for topping)
1 large egg
1 cup (240ml) buttermilk
½ cup (100ml) vegetable oil
For the Cinnamon Swirl
3 tablespoons (42g) unsalted butter
½ cup (100g) brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
¼ cup (55g) cream cheese, softened
1 and ½ cups (187g) icing sugar
1 - 2 tablespoons milk, if needed
