Almost each and every dessert recipe contains a hint of whipped cream in it. Embarrassingly enough, I was never able to pull out a perfect whipped cream for my dessert until I found the trick to it. The key to perfectly whipped cream is chilling your bowl. Now this might sound funny but trust me it do wonders.
• Take your mixing bowl and keep it in your freezer for at least 3 hours in order to make sure it is perfectly chilled.
• Take one pack of digestive biscuits. Put them in a blender and crush it into fine powder.
• Take 100g of unsalted melted butter and mix it well with biscuits.
• Take your serving dish and gently pour the mixture of biscuits and butter in it to make a perfect base.
• Keep the serving dish in fridge while we follow rest of the recipe.
• Take your mixing bowl out from the freezer and add 1 ½ cup of heavy cream. Using hand beater start whipping your cream till it is twice the original size. Make sure you don’t over mix it as you don’t want it to split.
• Now add one tin small tin of condensed milk and fold in it your whipped cream.
• Take half cup of boiled water and add three table spoon of instead coffee in it.
• Mix it well.
• Now gently add the coffee in your mixture. Make sure you add the right amount for the perfect taste, as you don’t want your dessert to leave a bitter after taste.
• Now this is a fun part, take 4 standard sized KitKat and crush them gently in small squares.
• Add your crushed KitKat in your mixture and mix it well.
• Pour you mixture over the biscuit base that was resting in your fridge.
• Keep your serving dish back in the fridge.
For ganache:
What is better than a regular chocolate ganache? Well the answer is nutella ganache!
• Take one cup nutella in a medium sized bowl.
• In a sauce pan, add ½ cup heavy cream and let it boil until you see small bubbles.
• Pour the cream over the nutella and let it be there for 2-3 minutes.
• Now gently mix cream and nutella until your get super thick consistency.
• Pour the ganache over your dessert and let it freeze overnight.
