Cookie Cutter Pancakes for Kids

It seems in my nuthouse, the more involved my kids are with dinner, the emptier the plates. I know sheet pancakes sounds kind of boring but it is so easy and the kids get to make a decision about their pancakes. Just to let you in on a secret, this was a recipe from a cookbook I got when I was a tweeny bop, years and years ago. Keep reading and I will tell you all about it.

2 cup packaged pancake mix
1 egg
1 ½ cup milk
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup raisins or dried fruit bits(optional)
Butter and Maple syrup
