Corn Flake Nut Cookies

The recipe I was using for inspiration called for Wheaties, but I substituted it with corn flakes. It does have a chewy crunchy texture, and it is delicious.

1/2 c butter
1c brown sugar
2 eggs
1t vanilla
1 1/4 c flour
1t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1cup chopped nuts
4 cups corn flakes
Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Mix in with butter mixture along with the nuts. Carefully fold in the corn flakes. Bake in 350 degree oven 8-10 minutes.
