Crazy Frugal Sweet n' Heat Pork, Black Bean, and Chow Mein Noodle Dinner

We were getting to the end of some of our perishables (it's that time of the week when fresh produce starts to deplete and we need to make shopping plans) and had to think to put together a frugal and yummy meal with ingredients that were mostly remaining from the night before. I came up with a dish with all of our bits and pieces that my children, husband and I all really enjoyed.

3 pieces of boneless pork tenderloin
1 tsp of red chilli pepper flakes
1/4 ginger root finely chopped (about 2tbsp)
1/2 of a large white onion
1/4 package of carrots (2-3 carrots depending on size and how much you want)
1/4 of a 1.5lb container of white mushrooms
1 package of Rooster Brand Instant Chow Mein Noodles (or your favorite brand)
1/2 of a bulb of garlic
1 1/2 VH Sweet and Sour Sauce (227ml bottles)
1/4 can of black beans from a 473ml can
salt and pepper
