Creamy Chicken Corn Chowder

A lightened up version of creamy corn chowder. Instead of from lots of cream and thickening agent, this chowder gets it's wonderful creaminess from creamed corn.

5 c. chicken broth
2 boneless chicken breasts, diced into small pieces
2 potatoes, diced
3 T. butter
1 onion, diced
6 T. flour
1/4 c. dry white wine
1 c. light cream or milk
2 (16 oz.) cans cream-style corn
3 c. corn kernels
1 red bell pepper, finely diced
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
Salt & pepper, to taste
