Crisp and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a chocolate chip cookie recipe that makes the most amazing cookies of all time! They turn out to be chewy on the inside and have crunch on the outside. The chocolate is brought out by the pinch of cinnamon that is added in the recipe. And the walnuts provide the extra crunchiness.

2 ¼ cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/8 tsp Ground Cinnamon
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp of room temperature margarine
2 tbsp Vegetable Shortening at room temperature
¾ cup of granulated Sugar
¾ of a cup of Brown Sugar
2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/8 tsp Ground Cinnamon
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp of room temperature margarine
2 tbsp Vegetable Shortening at room temperature
¾ cup of granulated Sugar
¾ of a cup of Brown Sugar
2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1. Combine Margarine, shortening and both sugars in mixer and mix until combined well.
2. Add eggs one at a time on low speed .
3. Add vanilla extract, baking soda and cinnamon.
4. Stir in flour one cup at a time. Mix until everything is combined. Do not over mix!
5. Slowly add the chocolate chips and walnuts.
6. Bake cookies at 375*F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cookies to rest on the sheet for 5 minutes for the cookies to set. Transfer the cookies to a baking rack and allow them to cool all the way.
