Crispy Fried Chicken Recipe

One of my favorite dishes to make and then to eat is fried chicken. It is very important to me that my chicken to be very crispy and perfectly seasoned. The best way to do this is to double coat your chicken and then fry it until your chicken is perfectly fried. Below you will find my instructions on how to make some perfect fried chicken.

1 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons of freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons of paprika
3/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 (4 lb.) chicken, cut into 8 pieces, with the backbone and wing tips removed
1 cup of buttermilk
1 large egg
4 cups of flour
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of kosher salt
1 tablespoon of black pepper
Peanut oil
2 teaspoons of freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons of paprika
3/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
