Crock-pot Apple Kielbasa
283
Serve this super easy crock-pot appetizer recipe at the start of a hearty fall meal. You can use any fully-cooked sausage in place of the kielbasa if you'd like. If you'd like to make Apple Kielbasa at the last minute, make stove-top Apple Kielbasa (see note at bottom).
8
4 lbs. fully cooked kielbasa sausage
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups chunky applesauce
4 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups chunky applesauce
4 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
4 cloves garlic, minced
Cut kielbasa into 1" pieces and combine with brown sugar, applesauce, mustard, and garlic in large crockpot.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until thoroughly heated.
If you have a new hot cooking crock-pot, cook on low for 4-6 hours until hot.
Notes for stove-top directions:
Cut kielbasa into 1" pieces and combine with brown sugar, applesauce, mustard, and garlic in large saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, until sausage is hot and glazed.
This should take about 15-20 minutes.
