Crock Pot BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
41
This pulled pork recipe is great as an appetizer or a main course...and it is just as good the following day!
24
1 medium onion
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground mustard
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
3 lb boneless pork shoulder roast
24 small rolls (2 12-packs of original Kings Hawaiian Rolls)
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground mustard
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
3 lb boneless pork shoulder roast
24 small rolls (2 12-packs of original Kings Hawaiian Rolls)
1. Slice onion and place them in your crock pot.
2. Add half of the barbecue sauce (1/2 cup) to the crock pot. Then, add the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, paprika, black pepper, salt, ground mustard and worcestershire sauce to the mixture. Stir all of these ingredients together.
3. Cut the pork shoulder in half & place it in the crock pot, turning the pork so that it is covered in the sauce.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours
5. Use a knife and fork to pull the pork apart and discard any fat. The pork will fall apart easily & will be very moist. Add the additional 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce, if you\\\'d like. This makes the sauce thicker without taking away any of the flavor!
6. Serve on Hawaiian rolls and enjoy!
