Crock Pot Potato Crab Chowder

This is an awesome soup for the start of autumn. So quick and easy.

2 tbsp. butter
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 tsp minced garlic
1 lb potatoes, cut into bit sized pieces
3 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 cup fat free milk
2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 can cream style corn
14 oz chicken broth
16 oz imitation crabmeat, cut into bite sized pieces
3 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp salt
Turn crock pot on high. Add butter, onion soup mixr, and minced garlic. Allow butter to melt and mix together. Add potatoes and sprinkle mixture with flour. Add milk, thyme, pepper, nutmeg, corn, and chicken broth to mixture and stir to combine. Stir in crab, parsley, and salt. Reduce heat to low and cook for 3-4 hours or until potatoes are tender.
