Deep Dish Iron Skillet Pizza

The crust on pizza made in an iron skillet is amazing and using pizza dough yeast, can be made any weeknight for dinner in less than 30 minutes!

1 packet Pizza Crust Yeast
About 2 Cups of all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons Sugar
¾ teaspoons salt
2/3 Cup very warm water
3 Tablespoons of oil – I used olive oil
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese and toppings.
Sauce Ingredients:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup onion, grated
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes (this time I used fresh tomatoes and it was great!)
1/4 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil

Pre-heat oven to 425 F and oil iron skillet getting it in the corners really well.
