Deliciously Spicy Beef and Bean Casserole

This is a dish that we, at home, have recently fallen in love with. Wishing  to cook something a little different, one day, with stewing beef and having a passion for spices, I decided to try this. And I\\\\\\\\\\\'m pleased to say that this meal not only satisfied out tums but also our taste buds! Serves 4-5

2 tbsp vegetable oil
400g/500g of diced beef for slow cooking. Stewing steak cut into cubes is also perfect.
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, grated, crushed or finely chopped.
1 tbsp plain flour
1 tbsp black treacle
1 generous tsp cumin
1 generous tsp ground coriander
1 generous tsp paprika
1 400g canned tomatoes
500ml beef stock (fresh or from a cube is both fine.)
1 generous tbsp tomato purée
2 peppers, chopped. The colours are up to you.
1 400g can of cannelini beans
1 400g of kidney beans
2 red chillies, chopped finely. Perhaps  more, perhaps less if you prefer, depending on the type of chilli and your personal tolerance.
Soured cream and fresh coriander to serve.
