Double Quick Dinner Rolls

Dinner rolls that don't take hours to prepare.

1 cup warm milk
1 packet yeast
1 tsp salt
1 egg
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons shortening
2 1/4 cups flour
Dissolve yeast in milk. Mix in salt, egg, sugar, shortening and half of the flour to the milk. Mix in remaining flour. Let rise until double (about 30 mins). Preheat oven to 400F. Stir down risen dough....
