I love caramel and I am always looking for ways to incorporate it into desserts. I also have a plethora of pecans in my freezer. What to do with pecans and caramel? Make turtle candy of course! So what does a girl from Kentucky do when she makes turtle candy? Add bourbon! Lastly, what does a Kentucky girl living in Georgia do to make the pecans even more tantalizing? She rolls them in flour, brown sugar and melted butter.

8 oz. milk chocolate candy wafers
2 cups pecan halves, toasted
2 oz. bourbon (I used bourbon infused with black cherry)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbs. flour
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
4 tbs. salted butter
