Easy Cherry Pie- No Pie Crust Version

This is the easiest cherry pie you will ever make. You don't have to roll out a crust. Just mix and pour over the top of your pie. This is like a combination of a cookie, pie, cake or cobbler. You'll love it! A must have in your recipe box. You can also you cranberries and walnuts in place of cherries and hazelnuts. If you not a nut person, you can even leave them out. If cherries aren't in season, you can use frozen. This is a very flexible recipe that comes out perfect .

Ingredients:
2 cups of pitted and roughly chopped cherries
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
2 tsp cornstarch
1/3 cup of sugar
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 stick salted butter
1 cup flour

Cover bottom of glass pie plate with cherries
Add chopped hazelnuts
In a glass bowl mix cornstarch and 1/3 cup of sugar. Then pour the mixture over the cherries making sure to coat all the cherries
In a mixing bowl stir 2 room temperature beaten eggs into 1 cup of sugar
Melt butter and wait until it’s not hot to add to mixing bowl. Stir well.
Add flour to mixing bowl taking care not to over stir it.
Pour mixture over cherries and spread evenly
Cook at 350 for 50 mins.
