Easy Mint Brownies

A NO FAIL mint brownie recipe. I have tried several other recipes with the H ershey's syrup and failed miserably. So YUMMY for the mint brownie lover!

Brownies
2 Cup sugar
1 c butter
4 eggs
6 T cocoa
2 Cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 C nuts optional
1/2 tsp mint extract

Green frosting
4 T melted butter
2 T milk
2 C sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp peppermint extract
2 drops green food coloring

Chocolate frosting
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 T butter
Cream butter and sugar together in medium bowl. Add eggs mixing after each one. Add cocoa, flour, vanilla, and nuts (optional), 1/2 tsp mint, and mix. Spread batter in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Mix 4 T butter, milk, and powdered sugar, mint, and food color with mixer. Spread on cooled brownies. Let that sit until frosting is firm. Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter. Cool. Pour on firm green frosting and tilt pan until it covers green frosting. Refrigerate until firm. Enjoy
