Easy Peasy Cinnamon Rolls

I needed a quick recipe for cinnamon rolls and did not have time to make dough, wait for it to rise, etc etc! My mornings are too busy for that having to be out of the house by 7am to get my daughter to school and myself to work! So I started the search in my kitchen..I had a roll of Crescent sheet dough and said to myself.."everything's good with crescent dough!" I pulled out the dough and grabbed the other ingredients I thought would be in cinnamon rolls, come on, its cinnamon rolls! Easy P

1 Roll of Crescent Sheet Dough (from Refrigerator section at grocery store)
3-4 TBS Butter (softened)
1/4-1/2 C. Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1TBS Ground Cinnamon
Icing:
2 TBS Milk
1/4-1/2 C. Confectioners Sugar
1/2-1 tsp Vanilla (or other flavored extract of your choice)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and butter a round cake pan. Unroll crescent sheet on a lightly floured surface. Lightly roll out with a rolling pin to smooth out dough (if using crescent roll dough, pinch together all perforations). Spread softened butter evenly over dough leaving about a 1 inch margin. Then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar blend evenly over the dough. Tightly roll up dough starting with short end. Slice roll into 1" rolls and place in buttered cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees 10- 13 minutes or until golden brown (ovens vary greatly so after about 8 minutes watch closely). Remove rolls from oven and let cool 5-10 minutes and then drizzle, pour or spread icing over the rolls. ENJOY!
