½ white onion- minced
3 cups drippings from slow cooker (after you remove your cooked pork shoulder or loin)
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
4 tbsp cold water
salt/pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder

Add onions & stock to a saucepan & bring to a boil
Mix flour & cold water in a small bowl & whisk until there are no lumps
