Effortless Hot Cocoa

Effortless, simple hot cocoa to whip up for your family following an outing in the chilly outdoors.

1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup of hot water
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
2 cups of milk ( for a rich cocoa, use whole milk)
First, bring the 1/3 of a cup of water to a boil. While this is heating up, combine the cinnamon, cocoa powder and the sugar. Next add these dry ingredients to the hot water. Bring this mixture to a simmering boil, stirring frequently for approximately 2 minutes. Now, add the milk to this hot mixture and bring back to a simmer only, not a boil. Once the mixture reaches the simmer stage, remove from heat and serve in mugs. This cocoa is heavenly when served with a lot of mini marshmallows or creamy whipped topping.
