Evelyn’s Salsa

My friend Evelyn brought this over and it was a huge hit. My kids love it because it has no onions and I love the tangy flavor from the balsamic vinegar. Thanks Evelyn for sharing your recipe!

1 can (16 oz.) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 1/2 c. fresh tomatoes, diced
1/2 bunch cilantro
3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. oil (optional)
3 Tbsp. lime juice
1 1/2 jalapenos, diced and seeded
1/4 tsp. tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. crushed garlic
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate at least an hour before serving. Serve with tortilla chips.
