2 cups sugar
¼ cup baking cocoa
½ cup milk
¼ cup butter
Dash of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
3 cups quick oats
1. In a 4-quart kettle, bring the sugar, cocoa, milk and butter to a rolling boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. 2. Remove from the heat and add salt, vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal. 3. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper and let harden. 4. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
