Feta Turkey Meatballs

We love almost anything made with feta cheese in our house, so I had to try this recipe when I found it. I had planned to make them much smaller as a party food for a games night, but that got canceled. I had to rethink them for dinner and made so many there were enough to freeze after cooking to save for more meals. We served ours with freshly sliced tomatoes and cucumber with pita bread and tzatziki sauce.

2 shallots, minced
1 piece of whole wheat bread, for breadcrumbs
1 lb ground turkey
1 t oregano
6 T finely chopped fresh parsley
1/2 c crumbled feta cheese
2 garlic clove, minced
4 tablespoons of warm water
salt and pepper to taste
