This is a perfect little appetizer to any dinner. It is quick and easy, and can be flavored in many different ways.

4 ounces of Edam cheese (or real Parmesan, Gouda, Cheddar, Blue cheese. basically any semi hard or hard cheese works well)
1 tablespoon fresh chili finely chopped (or finely chopped fresh onion, garlic, oregano, ginger, or ground pepper)

Preheat the oven to 375 °F
cut the cheese into 1/2 inch pieces.
chop the fresh ingredients
place the cheese on a baking sheet, leave an inch of space around each piece. sprinkle a tiny bit of your fresh ingredient or pepper on the cheese.
bake for approximately 5 minutes, or until the cheese starts to get slightly brown on the edges.
