French Onion Soup - Quick and Easy.

French Onion Soup made quick and easy....just a few ingredients and you have a rich delicious soup!

6 large onions, Vidalia works best, sliced
6 cans beef consomme
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
Coarse French Bread
Swiss Cheese Slices
Saute onions in melted butter until translucent. As onions wilt down, add flour and pinch of sugar. When onions are translucent and tender, add beef consomme and bring to a boil. Cook for 10-15 minutes. Slice French bread and toast both sides, then top with Swiss cheese slices and return to oven to melt. Serve soup with swiss cheese french bread on top. Enjoy!
