Fresh Raspberry Coconut Oil Shake

This is a creamy fresh shake with the health benefits of yummy coconut oil

1 cup good quality vanilla bean ice cream
1 cup whole milk (more or less depending on thickness
3/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries (I used fresh)
1 TBS coconut oil
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Put all ingredients into blender. Blend completely and enjoy!

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
