Fried Pork & Rice Balls

I wish I could have come up with a better name than this but it describes them exactly. This is good food that brings me back to my childhood.

¼ lb ground pork (any ground meat would work), browned, drained and cooled
1 C breadcrumbs, divided
2 eggs
1 C prepared rice, day old is best. Make at least a few hours before.
2 T parsley, fresh, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ C parmesan cheese, grated
1 C canola oil
Marina sauce for dipping
In a bowl combine pork, eggs, ½ C breadcrumbs, rice, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder & parmesan cheese. Form into balls. They will be delicate so be careful. Place remaining ½ C...
