Frosted Slice and Bake Cookies

Sweet and Simple cookies. You make the dough ahead of time and freeze until ready to use. Then slice and bake them. Frost with a delicious glaze and add some sprinkles for a delicious treat!

1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup unsalted butter (make sure to let it soften first!)
1 egg
1 tsp almond extract
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 TBSP milk

for frosting
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp desired flavoring (I used vanilla again, but you can use lemon, almond, whatever)
Sprinkles!!!

Cream the butter and sugar, and vanilla extract together, mixing about 2-3 minutes. Add egg and almond extract. Beat in the flour, salt, milk, and baking powder. Mix well. Divide the dough in half and...
