Fudge Blossoms

These Fudge Blossoms are another recipe that are so easy to make and yet so delicious! Using a cake mix as the base for the cookie just simplifies the recipe. What I love about these is that you can add to them what you like. You can roll them in nuts, add chocolate chips, or cherries, or put a hershey kiss on top. You can mix them up however you like. -Robin

1/4 Cup butter, softened
1 15.25 oz pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Choice of:
24 Hershey Kisses
12 Marachino Cherries cut in half
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
