Fudge Brownies with Cream Cheese Fudge Frosting

These fudge brownies take on a rich fudge flavor by melting the chocolate bar and butter over a low heat. The frosting is the same. Using a low heat with chocolate takes it to a real “fudge level”…..if there is such a thing. Fudge Brownies with Cream Cheese Frosting are going to become a favorite for sure.

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 oz unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
