Georgian Stuffed Mushrooms with Sulguni Cheese

Appetizer from the Republic of Georgia. Brined cheese and butter melted into mushroom caps - easy and delicious.

Wash and dry the mushrooms.
Remove the stems and place in a shallow baking dish.
Season lightly with salt and pepper
Add about 1/2 teaspoon of butter to each mushroom cap.
