Giant Turkey Gordon Bleu

Huge, juicy turkey gordon bleu with ham and cheese.

500g turkey breast
cheese, sliced
200g ham, sliced
all purpose flour
4 eggs, beaten
bread crumbs
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
vegetable oil, for cooking
Cut the meat into 4 equal sized pieces, and season with salt and pepper. Pound them well on both sides. On 3 plates, put flour, bread crumbs and the eggs, beaten with salt and pepper. Take one pounded meat piece, put it into first into the flour, with both sides, then into the egg mixture, covering it well on both sides, then into the bread crumbs. Onto one side of the covered meat, add slices of ham to cover it all up, then add slices of cheese on top the ham. Take a good grip of the prepared meat, and add it once again into the egg mixture and then into the bread crumbs, taking care that the ham and cheese don`t fall off. Heat up oil over medium-high heat in a non stick skillet or pan. Add the prepared turkey breast cheese-side down into the hot oil, so that a crust can form to hold the ham and cheese together. After 5 minutes, turn and fry the other side. Once the bread crumb crust gets a nice golden color, you are done. Repeat all of these steps for the other 3 pieces of turkey. Serve with Mashed Potatoes or French Fries and Sweet, Dill Pickles.
