Gingerbread Donut

Gingerbread cake type donuts with a lemon glaze.

2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 tbsp oil
3/4 cup milk
4-4 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1;2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
vegetable oil for frying
rind of 1 lemon
juice of 1/2 lemon or 2 Tbsp
enough water to make 1/3 cup when combined with juice
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Beat eggs with mixer. Add sugar, molasses and oil, mixing well. Add milk and mix again. Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours. Roll dough out on well floured board to 1/2 inch...
