Gluten Free Brownie Sundaes

I've never been a big fan of gluten free things... until I gained a gluten free roommate! Now I'm always snacking on gluten free crackers, bread, and experimenting with gluten free desserts just because I like the taste! We decided to try these gluten free brownies and just couldn't resist plopping some delicious ice cream on top. If you've never had gluten free brownies before just be prepared for a very different and rich taste that's absolutely delicious!

15 ounce can black beans (drained and rinsed)
3 eggs
? cup pumpkin puree
½ cup cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
? cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup milk chocolate chips

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
