6 eggs
1/2 cup oil (I used extra virgin olive oil)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp anise extract
5 tsps baking powder
5 cups flour
1/2 cup sliced almonds or walnuts (more if you'd like)
