2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter melted
16 ounces crushed pineapple
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

TOPPING
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup pecans chopped
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
ombine all cake ingredients together mix well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Combine 1 cup brown sugar and pecans together and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. TOPPING Combine butter, sugar, evaporated milk and vanilla in a saucepan bring to boil. Remove from heat and pour over hot cake.
