Grapefruit Yogurt Bundt Cake

A moist grapefruit yogurt cake dusted with powdered sugar.

1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Zest of 1 medium grapefruit, finely chopped
3 cups granulated sugar, divided
1 cup unsalted butter, cut in 1-inch pieces, at room temperature
6 large eggs
1 cup plain, vanilla or honey yogurt
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
