"Grown Up" Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate is so good. A rich and creamy hot chocolate, it reminds me of the chocolate Vianne(Juliette Binoche) made for Roux(Johnny Depp) in the movie Chocolat.

4 oz. Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup half-and-half
1 tablespoon amaretto or imitation almond extract(may omit)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup whipped cream
