1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
3-4 cups peeled and diced potatoes
1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham
3-4 cups chicken stock (enough to cover vegetables)
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon thyme
5 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons flour
