in your slow cooker or a large pot put your beans (black beans or pinto beans) to cook on mid heat until done add salt a few rings of onion 2 garlic cloves salt and a little oil to beans now to fry the beans in a pan add about a teaspoon or 2 of oil add about 4 or 5 rings of onion let soft the onion add in beans add salt to liking when the beans are boiling with a potato masher mash beans until smoshed let stand on heat until boiling again then take off eat and enjoy you can have them thick or thin it is on how much juice from the beans you add when frying them.
