Homemade Croutons

These are a great way to use up not so fresh bread and they taste amazing.

12 slices regular or 6 slices over sized bread (crust trimmed off and cubed into bite size pieces)
6 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp parsley
pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 300. Mix melted butter and seasonings in a large bowl until well blended. Add bread cubes to butter mixture and toss well until bread is coated. Spread out in a single layer on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Toss croutons around and return to oven for another 15 minutes or until dried and just starting to get crunchy.
