Homemade enchilida sauce from scratch

A mild and very flavorful red chili sauce. A lot of depth using simple ingredients!

4 tbs chili powder
4 tbs paprika
2 pkgs knoll chicken stock gel pots or 6-8tbs chicken gravy base
1 tbs oregano dry leaf
1 tbs onion powder
6-8 cups water
2 tsp cumin

Secret ingredient 2 pkgs chicken gravy mix
Put all ingredients into a large pan besides the gravy mix. Bring to a boil on med heat cook for about 10 mins, then add your thickening agents. Which is the gravy mix. I like using this over cornstarch but, if you only have cornstarch, you can surely use it. Cook until you have a nice thick sauce. You can use this sauce to cook meat in. Adds great flavor.
