Homemade Molasses Cookies

If you are a fan of the ultimate chewy cookie, this recipe is for you! These are the perfect chewy Molasses cookie, and they stay soft for days!

1 Cup sugar
3/4 Cup sour cream
1/2 Cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 Cup shortening
1/2 Cup molasses
1 egg
3 Cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp salt
