I am absolutely making the most out of local summer NJ produce! The kids have a fun time picking the fruit off the trees and I get to make this beautiful Homemade Peach Pie!!! If you haven’t had a fresh picked peach, you are missing out, the deliciousness is way beyond anything you get at the store. For the filling:
12-14 peaches, peeled & sliced
1/4 cup pure cane sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup flour
For the crust:
8 oz greek yogurt cream cheese, diced
2 sticks cold unsalted butter, small dice
3 cups flour
1/2 cup pure cane sugar
a pinch of salt
approx 3 Tbsp cold water
